What is Pharmacy First?

The NHS Pharmacy First Scheme allows Pharmacists to offer expert guidance and recommend appropriate treatments including antibiotics for various common ailments, without the need for a prescription from a doctor.

To access this service our Pharmacist would need to do a face to face consultation at the pharmacy.

Conditions Treated Through the NHS Pharmacy First Scheme

Sinusitis (12 years and over)
Sore throat (5 years and over)
UTI- Uncomplicated Urinary Tract infections Women (16-64 years)
Acute otitis media (1 to 17 years)
Impetigo (1 year and over)
Infected insect bites (1 year and over)
Shingles (18 years and over)
